Zach Hallowell is a seasoned automotive and digital marketplace executive with more than 20 years of experience driving strategic transformation across leading industry platforms. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of CarOffer, a CarGurus subsidiary, where he led the strategy and operations of a programmatic matching and inventory recommendation platform.
Throughout his career, Hallowell has built a reputation as a visionary leader with deep expertise in wholesale and digital automotive marketplaces. At Manheim Auctions, part of Cox Automotive, he held several senior leadership roles, including Senior Vice President of Manheim Digital. In this role, he led global digital channel strategy and coordinated enterprise-wide operations from vehicle inspections to wholesale data licensing to drive growth, efficiency, and alignment with physical auction operations.
Earlier, he led product innovation and marketplace expansion at OPENLANE and ADESA, helping pioneer online wholesale solutions that shaped the evolution of digital remarketing. Across these roles, Hallowell has consistently demonstrated an ability to scale technology, align cross-functional teams, and deliver seamless, high-performing marketplace experiences.
A recognized innovator in automotive technology, Hallowell holds a B.A. from Middlebury College and is named on multiple patents related to wholesale remarketing systems. He currently serves as Executive Vice President of Transformation and Innovation at America’s Auto Auction, where he is focused on advancing enterprise initiatives, accelerating AI adoption, and strengthening the company’s integrated physical and digital capabilities
