This acquisition will mark the company’s first location in the state and further accelerates its nationwide growth strategy. The auction plans to operate as America’s Auto Auction Phoenix and opens a new chapter of service for dealers across the Southwest.
Founded in 2002 by industry leaders Brad Sturgeon and Bill Baker, Dealers Auto Auction of the Southwest has established itself as a high-performing independent auction known for strong customer relationships, consistent execution, and excellence in operations. Under the leadership of Jim Mumford, the expansive 15-acre auction facility operates six full-service lanes and hosts weekly sales of more than 800 vehicles. The large-scale operation is supported by comprehensive title services, mechanical and detailing departments, post-sale inspections, and digital buying capabilities.
